Healthy Body – Healthy Mind!

More than two thousand years ago, Hippocrates, the Greek physician and father of medicine, said: “The wise man must understand that health is the most precious.

We are obliged to Hippocrates and others from the past to
reminding us that the fitness and health is not only new and temporary phenomenon and are not, and how to achieve and maintain good health.

Fundamentals of health, well-known and proven way
long available to anyone who decides they want to take full advantage of the huge benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

The reality of this lesson brought home to a fascinating history with more than a century ago, an American boy, sick and weakened by childhood diseases, who have sought refuge from his physical shortcomings in the love of books and reading. As time went on, as his mind is strong from his research, his body continued to fail.

His father is concerned finally said its 12-year-old son: “You see, not the body, and without the aid of the body the mind can not go as far as it should be. You must make your body know that you do! And the wise father then gave the boy’s weight and other gymnastic equipment and worked with him to strengthen their fragile young body.

Well, the story surprisingly happy ending. The boy listened, supported by his father, and not only worked hard to rebuild their health, but also has improved athlete, he graduated from Harvard University and continued to lead an active life vigorously outstanding achievements. This is a once sickly boy eventually became the 26 th President of the United States. It was Theodore Roosevelt, who at the age of 42 years, and is the youngest person ever to become president.

Throughout his life, Roosevelt practiced, as he put it, ”
strenuous life. “His strong commitment to physical activity
include boxing, horseback riding, swimming, and tourism and others.
Teddy Roosevelt discovered that an important foundation for good
health movement and activity. He showed that our bodies
intended to provide a strong, since they are constantly used, and called
with purposeful physical activity.
